Amsterdam on the road again

So now is the time when I am considering a short trip to the Adam aka Amsterdam for about a 5 day trip. If you needed a vacation as bad as I do right now you would immediately run for the airport. I am trying to head out at the beginning of February and stay for a 5 day weekend. My current plan is to stay at the Bulldog hostel and a small hostel my friend stayed at last summer. I am going to visit the heineken brewery, the Vincent Van Gough Museum, and of course De Rokerji coffee house, Grey Area and a few other odd ball coffee houses to taste the wares!! This will be on a budget of $1200 including airfare, my stay at the hostels, food and of course my fun while I am there. I will mainly be staying in the famous Red Light District but may decide to go out to the flying pig beach hostel for a night. I plan to visit as many hostels, bars, sites, art galleries, and coffee shops as I can possibly make it to. I will even try to use my second of three foreign languages French while there. I plan to stay up all night and sleep during the daytime but wont be sleeping all that much as the vacation will be full of fun and interesting things to explore. I want to meet new people at the hostel and hope to explore all that Amsterdam has to offer during this short vacation. I am even planing my flight as we speak. The airfare from the middle of the USA is only $650 roundtrip. I figure spending about $100 or so each day I am there. I will be taking a camera and will be documenting the entire vacation for everyone to see upon my return. Stay tuned. Stay Low, Lower Down....
